The Alliance of Ontario Food Processors

The Alliance of Ontario Food Processors (Alliance) is a non-profit organization of food and beverage processing companies and industry organizations. Members have joined together to provide a comprehensive and co-ordinated approach to promoting and representing the Ontario food and beverage processing sector on issues of common interest and concern.

Since 2003, the Alliance has been committed to ensuring effective industry representation and building improved opportunities for growth and sustainability of this dynamic industry. Following the release of the Strategy (a plan to guide both industry and government in policy and decision making over the next five to ten years) to ensure a successful future for the industry, the Alliance remains committed to serving the needs of one of Ontario's  largest manufacturing sectors.

Stakeholders in the food and beverage processing and input supply sector are invited to the OFIEC Food Industry Environmental Symposium on Tuesday April 6, 2010 in Mississauga Ontario. The day-long symposium is hosted by the Ontario Food Industry Environmental Coalition (OFIEC), a new consortium of food and beverage industry associations as well as the food input supply sector. OFIEC members have a common goal to tackle environmental issues affecting the sector as a whole.
