A Process Operator – Food Manufacturing operates, monitors, adjusts and maintains food and beverage manufacturing and processing systems and equipment by:
- Demonstrating safe working practices and procedures
- Employing job information resources
- Using and maintaining tools and equipment
- Transporting and storing process materials
- Maintaining process equipment and components
- Preparing raw materials and ingredients
- Controlling process operations
- Operating a central control room
- Carrying out process control procedures
A Process Operator – Food Manufacturing is knowledgeable in:
- Food Safety and Security
- Safety Management
- Mechanical Techniques and Tools
- Electricity and Instrumentation
- Maintenance
- Continuous Quality Improvement
- Environmental Safety
